Founded in 2006 by the volunteers of the Mahmud Es'ad Coşan Foundation to restore the essence of Qurban worship, the International Qurban Organisation began receiving proxies (wakalah) worldwide for the first time.
Mahmud Es'ad Coşan Foundation established DUHA International Qurban Organisation in 2006, with the objective of re-establishing the practice of sacrifice as a form of worship.
Qurban is an act of worship that necessitates a multifaceted approach. The optimal approach is to select and purchase a sacrificial (qurbani) animal with one's family, appreciate its purpose, and sacrifice it on the days of Eid’ul-Adha with the utmost submission to please the Creator. However, in the modern era, not all of us have the opportunity to personally engage in this practice, particularly in urban cities. DUHA International Qurban Organisation was established to ensure that the essence of the worship of sacrifice is not forgotten, even when it is performed by proxy (wakalah).
As DUHA International Qurban Organisation, our primary commitment is to procure the highest quality sacrifices (qurbanis) at competitive prices, ensuring they meet the defined standards of a sacrificial animal and to offer the sacrifice at the rightful time, Eid’ul-Adha. Our second priority is to ensure the meat from these sacrifices reaches the rightful owners.

Founded in 2006 by the volunteers of the Mahmud Es'ad Coşan Foundation to restore the essence of Qurban worship, the International Qurban Organisation began receiving proxies (wakalah) worldwide for the first time.
In our 2015 organisation, a big hall was hired to organise the distributions together with various activities. Our brothers and sisters who are the real beneficiaries in Indonesia were invited to these halls and both meat treats were presented and their hearts were tried to be blessed with activities. The world-famous hymn group DEBU was also invited to give a concert.
Until 2021, our organisation was based on slaughtering in Australia and distribution in Indonesia. In 2022, for the first time, we slaughtered and provided to beneficiaries in Turkiye, alongside slaughtered in Australia and provided to beneficiaries in Indonesia.
From 2006 until 2023, the Qurban organisations were known as the Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation International Qurban Organisation.Because our organisation is growing and developing, and because of the goals we have set for the future, we have started a new branding process. As of Hijri 1445 / Gregorian 2024, it has been decided that our organisation will continue under the name of 'DUHA International Sacrifice Organisation', the new brand of Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation.
We have continuously improved our operations every year, bringing our supply, slaughtering, and distribution processes to a level that sets an example.
DUHA is an organization sustained by the dedicated efforts of thousands of volunteers.
At DUHA, you can suggest recipients for the distribution or even participate in the process yourself.
We uphold the quality and sensitivity required by the qurban worship in all our processes.
Our slaughters are performed in modern, integrated facilities in a halal, hygienic, and compassionate manner.
We personally deliver qurban meat to the pre-identified rightful recipients, maintaining the cold chain throughout the process.
