7th International Qurban Organisation 1433 / 2012

Muslims from Turkey and all over the world entrusted their wakalahs to the International Qurban Organisation, which was held for the seventh time in Hijri 1433 (Gregorian 2012) by Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation in order to revive the essence of Qurban worship.

The ovine animals procured from Australia due to the abundance of quality animals were slaughtered in Australia’s modern integrated facilities in accordance with halal and hygienic standards. The sacrificial meat was frozen after being cut and packaged and sent to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, a total of 62,906 kg of meat was distributed directly to 33,916 families in Jogjakarta, Java Island. The distribution was carried out personally by the volunteers of the Qurban organisation.
