8th International Qurban Organisation 1434 / 2013

Muslims from Turkey and all over the world entrusted their wakalahs to the International Qurban Organisation, which was held for the eighth time by Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation in Hijri 1434 (Gregorian 2013) in order to revive the essence of Qurban worship.

The ovine animals procured from Australia due to the abundance of quality animals were slaughtered in Australia’s modern integrated facilities in accordance with halal and hygienic standards. The sacrificial meat was frozen after being cut and packaged and sent to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, a total of 115,240 kg of meat was distributed directly to 42,592 families in the Jogjakarta-Malang, Java Island region. The distribution was carried out personally by the volunteers of the Qurban organisation.
