10th International Qurban Organisation 1436 / 2015

Muslims from Turkey and all over the world entrusted their wakalahs to the International Qurban Organisation, which was held for the tenth time in Hijri 1436 (Gregorian 2015) by Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation in order to revive the essence of Qurban worship.

The ovine animals procured from Australia due to the abundance of quality animals were slaughtered in Australia’s modern integrated facilities in accordance with halal and hygienic standards. After the sacrificial meat was cut and packaged, it was frozen and sent to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, a total of 292,916 kg of meat was distributed directly to 89,922 families in Surabaya-Malang-Gresik, Java Island; Medan, Sumatra Island regions. The distribution was carried out personally by the volunteers of the Qurban organisation.
