14th International Qurban Organisation 1440 / 2019

In Hijri 1440 (Gregorian 2019), Muslims from Turkey and all over the world entrusted their wakalahs to the International Qurban Organisation, which was held for the fourteenth time by Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation in order to revive the essence of Qurban worship.

The ovine animals procured from Australia due to the abundance of quality animals were slaughtered in Australia’s modern integrated facilities in accordance with halal and hygienic standards. The sacrificial meat was frozen after being cut and packaged and sent to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, a total of 231,483 kg of meat was distributed directly to 77,693 families in Mataram, Lombok Island and Surabaya, Java Island regions. The distribution was carried out personally by the volunteers of the Qurban organisation.
