15th International Qurban Organisation 1441 / 2020

Muslims from Turkey and all over the world entrusted their wakalahs to the International Qurban Organisation, which was held for the fifteenth time in Hijri 1441 (Gregorian 2020) by Mahmud Esad Coşan Foundation in order to revive the essence of Qurban worship.

Due to the abundance of quality animals, ovine animals were procured from Australia and slaughtered in Australia’s modern integrated facilities in accordance with halal and hygienic standards. The sacrificial meat was frozen after being cut and packaged and sent to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, a total of 204,991 kg of meat was distributed directly to 71,600 families in Mataram, Lombok Island; Bima, Sumbawa Island; Surabaya, Java Island. The distribution was carried out personally by the volunteers of the Qurban organisation.
